The late September blossoms of Rabbitbrush come and go over the course of a few short weeks, and in that time bees and beetles are pulled in by the gravity of their color and scent continuing the symbiotic conversation between rooted and transient beings for yet another generation.

Hand harvested and collected by us in the high desert in late summer. Blooms are selected, sustainably plucked, carried, and small batch steam distilled.
This collection provides a series of aromatic experiences, presenting sustainably harvested plants, hand distilled & hand blended highlighting the scents & interactive properties of specific plants native to the region to embody a process centered around communion with the natural world. The result of this meticulous effort is the plants’ highest form of aromatic expression. The sculpted, locally hand blown glass vessels are corked in natural rubber and sealed with wax becoming art for the home after life as a fragrance vessel.

FROM DRY OPEN SPACES WITH SAGEBRUSH OR GRASSLANDS, RABBITBRUSH IS A PERENNIAL SHRUB IN THE SUNFLOWER FAMILY. PRODUCING HUGE YELLOW INFLORESCENCES IN LATE SUMMER TO EARLY FALL, THE BLOOMS ARE HAND PLUCKED & DISTILLED FOR ITS REFINED FLORAL AROMATIC GENIUS. THE PLANT HAS INFLORESCENCES THAT ARE A COMBINATION OF RAY AND DISK FLOWERS (OR FLORETS) CLUSTERED TIGHTLY TOGETHER AND ARRANGED IN SUCH A WAY THAT THE INFLORESCENCE APPEARS TO BE A SINGLE FLOWER.
